Privacy Policy

Local-first by design

All computer-vision processing — camera capture, table detection, ball tracking, and drill scoring — runs on your own computer. Camera frames and recordings stay local by default. Media is uploaded only when you explicitly publish/share it or include it with a diagnostic report. Drill history, session statistics, and settings are stored on your device unless you use an optional sync or community feature.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and display name when you create an account.
• Licensing data: your license, subscription, and trial status; payment and rent-to-own ledger references; and a privacy-preserving hardware fingerprint used only to bind a license to your machine. Full card details stay with Stripe.
• Contact requests: the name, email address, category, subject, and message you submit through the contact page. We store a one-way keyed hash of the submitting IP address for abuse-rate limiting, not the raw address in the contact record.
• Diagnostics: when crash reporting is enabled in Settings → Privacy, FusionCue may automatically send logs, account and machine identifiers, and system information after a crash. A report may include media only when you explicitly attach or approve it. You can disable automatic crash reporting in the app.
• Direct messages: messages you send to other players are stored with your account so both of you can read the conversation; only the people in it can see them. If you report a conversation, its messages are shared with FusionCue admins for review. Blocks and your message settings are stored with your account too.
• Online status and activity: while FusionCue is open and you're signed in, other players can see that you're online and, unless you turn activity sharing off, what you're playing. FusionCue admins can see every signed-in player's online status and current activity, including when you appear invisible or keep your activity private, to support players and run the service.
• Cloud features (optional): if you use cloud-based features such as the AI chat agent, text you submit is transmitted to the relevant service provider to generate a response.
• AI memory and usage: conversation messages, compact summaries, selected durable facts, player-linked statistics, and provider usage totals may be stored with your account to preserve context, personalize responses, and enforce limits. Remembered facts can be reviewed or deleted in the app.
• Website analytics: when you visit fusioncue.com, Google Analytics records page views, approximate location, device, and browser information so we can understand how the site is used. PostHog records how pages are used — page views, clicks, scrolling, and session replays in which form fields, email addresses, and account pages are masked — and keeps a random identifier in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. When you sign in, that activity is linked to your account. This does not apply to the local desktop app.
• How you found us: fusioncue.com keeps a random browser identifier and the source of your visit (campaign tags in the link and the referring site, such as YouTube or Google) in your browser's local storage and records the visit without your IP address. When you sign in, that source is linked to your account, along with your optional answer to “where did you hear about us?”, so we can tell which channels bring players to FusionCue.
• Creator referrals: if you arrive through a creator's link or promo code, we record which creator referred you. Creators see only the date, product, and commission for a referral, never your name or email.
• Affiliate payouts: if you join the affiliate program, your payout identity, tax details, and bank details are collected and held by Stripe.

Ball pictures (optional)

You can choose to share pictures of your pool balls to help FusionCue recognise balls on more tables. It is off unless you turn it on in the app.

• What is shared: small pictures cropped tightly around single balls on your table, with the ball's number, what FusionCue read it as, and technical details such as the ball's size in pixels and your cloth colour. Never full camera frames, pictures of people, or audio.
• How it is used: to train and test FusionCue's ball recognition. FusionCue staff may review and label the pictures. We do not sell or publish them.
• Where it is kept: in private storage with our database provider, linked to your account. Up to 500 pictures a day are sent, only while you are not playing.
• Turning it off: stops new uploads, and we stop using the pictures you already shared for future training. A model that was already trained with them can't remove what it learned. To have your shared pictures deleted, contact us.

Service providers

We use a small number of processors to operate FusionCue: Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and account data), Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, software updates, and Turnstile abuse protection), Google Analytics (fusioncue.com page-usage measurement), PostHog (fusioncue.com product analytics and session replay), Resend (transactional and contact email), and — only when you use the corresponding optional cloud features — AI providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI. We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention and your rights

We keep account and licensing data while your account is active. Contact queue records are retained for up to 180 days after delivery; undelivered records expire after 30 days. Delivered correspondence may remain in the support mailbox longer when needed to continue the conversation, handle a dispute, or meet legal obligations. You may request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes the profile and personal product data, but limited payment, ownership, refund, fraud-prevention, and audit records may be retained where required for accounting, legal compliance, dispute handling, or to prevent duplicate charges. Those records are detached from the deleted profile where practical. Uninstalling the application may leave settings, logs, models, recordings, and runtime files under your Windows FusionCue app-data folder; you can delete that folder manually when you no longer need the local data.
