Getting started

Direct messages

Chat one on one with other FusionCue players — start a chat from the online list or a profile, mute, block or report, and choose whether anyone can message you.

Direct messages let you chat one on one with other FusionCue players. Chats open in a dock at the bottom right of the app, and you can keep several open at once. Direct messages are rolling out to beta testers first.

Starting a chat

  • In the online list, click a player's name and choose Start Chat.
  • On a player's profile, press Message.
  • Press Messages in the dock to see your conversations.

A new message shows up as a card in the lower right, with a soft chime — even during a solo drill. Online matches stay free of message popups.

Mute, block and report

Open a chat's menu to:

  • Mute notifications for that conversation;
  • Block the player — they can't message you, and they disappear from your online list;
  • Report the player — the messages go to the FusionCue team for review.

You can also block a player from the online list or their profile.

Who can message you

Settings → Privacy → Direct messages:

  • Accept messages from other players — turn it off and nobody can start or continue a chat with you. FusionCue admins can always reach you.
  • Message sounds — the chime when a new message card appears.
